
According to the complaint, Live Nation and Ticketmaster “have attempted to destroy competition in the artist presale ticketing services market.” Songkick - a concert listings and ticketing company based in New York that has worked with artists like Adele, Paul McCartney, Ellie Goulding, Jackson Browne, Miranda Lambert and Ricky Martin - filed its suit on Tuesday in United States District Court in Los Angeles, accusing Live Nation and its subsidiary, Ticketmaster, of interfering in Songkick’s business in violation of federal antitrust law. SooJung Kwon's passion for collaboration has led her to work as a piano accompanist in the Leipzig Opera House under Conductor Riccardo Chailly and with the studios of Scott Flavin and Ross Harbaugh at the University of Miami.In a case that offers a glimpse into the lucrative but often hidden business of concert tickets, a small company has sued Live Nation Entertainment in federal court, accusing the multibillion-dollar concert giant of abusing its market power to control the sales of tickets through musicians’ websites and fan clubs. Kwon pursued additional studies with Felix Michael Deichmann at Folkwang Universität der Künste, and Paul Posnak at the University of Miami.

There, she studied with Helmut Wees and specialized in chamber music. Kwon received her master’s from Hochschule für Musik und Theater "Felix Mendelssohn Batholdy," one of the leading institutions for professional music education in Europe. A native of South Korea, Kwon currently resides in South Florida where she actively performs as both a solo and collaborative pianist and is currently promoting her Nanum (sharing) concert series "Faith, Hope, & Love" which showcases and promotes the healing and unifying powers of music.

Concert pianist SooJung Kwon has performed at concerts throughout the world, and has been awarded full scholarships to study and teach at some of the finest Universities in Germany, Leipzig, as well as the University of Miami, Lynn University, and Florida Atlantic University.
